Performances

In this performance, Kanchana plays the Kandyan Drum, also called the Gata Bera. I am playing a West African Djembe drum and drums from Ghana called the Kpanlogo drums. We formed the Afrolankan Drumming System to bring together our shared interest and knowledge in African Drumming, Cuban and Sri Lankan Drumming rhythms, and styles.
